Where It All Started
Shawn Zylberberg
Founder & CEO
Shawn began his wine journey as a sommelier in New York City, pouring over 100 wines by the glass while performing on the city's stages as an actor. He later sharpened his editorial edge at Wine Spectator, where he wrote more than 350 articles on auctions, vineyard science, and global market trends for the world’s leading wine publication.
Shawn then joined public relations agency Colangelo & Partners, where he led U.S. communications strategies for iconic global wine estates. In March of 2025, he founded Zonda Wine Services to give his performative experience, certified expertise, and obsessive attention to detail a platform to communicate wine with no guardrails but high quality.
Shawn lives in Miami, Florida.
He drinks wine because there is no other product in the world that transmits nature better.
